Bobrick B-49916 Vinyl Coated Swing Up Grab Bar

Vinyl-Coated swing-up grab bar with reinforced joint shall be corrosion resistant, zinc coated steel pipe with vinyl antibacterial, biocompatible and warm-to-the touch coating.
Grab bar shall have 1/8" (3mm) wall thickness, 1/8" (3mm) extruded plastic finish coating thickness and 1-5/16" (33mm) outside diameter.
Back plate shall be 3/16" (4mm) thick AISI 304 stainless steel, equipped with screw holes for attachment to wall.
Swing-up grab bar shall be manually raised for approach or departure and lowered to horizontal position for support; grab bar is raised to upright position against wall and remains in vertical position until lowered to horizontal position.
Swing-up grab bar withstands loads 330 pounds (150kg) if properly installed.
Swing up grab bar extends 27 9/16" from the wall.

Mounting Kits, Fasteners and Anchors are NOT included with Bobrick grab bars and must be ordered separately as an optional accessory:

MOUNTING KITS - Bobrick grab bar screw mounting kit available for different types of installations.
One mounting kit is required for each flange.
Bobrick Part No. 252-30 - Consists of (3) 1/4" x 2 1/2" type-304 stainless steel round-head sheet-metal screws.

FASTENERS: Bobrick WingIt™ grab bar fastening system secures grab bars installed without backing in wall. Fastener to be used with 2 1/2" or deeper hollow walls with finished wall surfaces 1/4" to 1 1/2" thick. The fastener will support 300 lbs load.
One fastener is required for each flange.
Bobrick Part No. 251-4 - Consists of (3) 10–32 x 5/16" round-head, Phillips 18/8 stainless steel screws and (1) WingIt grab bar fastener.

ANCHORS: Bobrick grab bar anchor used for mounting to toilet partition.
One anchor is required for each flange.
Bobrick Part No. 2583 - Consists of (1) anchor for 3/4" to 1" thick toilet partition panel and stainless steel machine screws.
Bobrick Part No. 2586 - Consists of (1) anchor for 1/2" thick toilet partition panel and stainless steel machine screws.

Safety Warning: Grab bars are no stronger than the anchors and walls to which they are attached and, therefore, must be firmly secured in order to support the loads for which they are intended.
